Publisher and co-developer Dotemu have revealed the Battle Mode and the release date for Streets of Rage 4 in their latest trailer.

As detailed in the press release, Battle Mode has returned from Streets of Rage 2 and Streets of Rage 3. This allows up to four players to battle each other across eight stages- in any combination of teams or free for all.

In case you missed it, it was also recently announced the game would feature 12 retro unlockable characters, and music from past Streets of Rage games.
