Shirley Curry, better known as Skyrim Grandma, will voice herself in a fanmade follower mod for Skyrim. The 83-year-old grandmother has amassed quite a following on Youtube simply recording herself playing Skyrim, and is well-regarded for being a pretty wholesome fixture in the gaming community.
The mod, simply titled, “Shirley – A Skyrim Follower Mod,” adds Curry herself to the game as a follower, using her traditional two-handed weapon and light armor combo. The mod is also slated to have some additional features, such as special player and NPC dialogue exchanges, and even a few new quests.
Curry is set to make an official appearance in the next Elder Scrolls game, after a Change.org petition garnered almost 50,000 signatures. With no release date announced for TES VI, however, this is a nice gesture to tide people over until the next game’s eventual release.
The mod developers are planning on releasing 1.0 in early 2020, which means there shouldn’t be much of a wait if you want to add Skyrim Grandma to your game.
