Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE Encore Japanese Website Updated, Replaces Uncensored Image with Censored Version

The official Japanese website for Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE Encore has updated, seemingly removing an image showing the game would not be censored, and replacing it with a censored one.

In case you missed our earlier report, the trailer for the game rose concerns that the censorship that plagued the original (Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE) would return- and possibly even in the Japanese version.

While the Japanese website originally showed an image indicating the game would be closer to its uncensored version, the website has since updated. As discussed in our previous report, the image showed where the song Feel plays. This scene also gives a clear shot of character Tsubasa, and her clothes that were changed between the Japanese and English versions of the game.

Below you can see the image that was originally used on the website (former), and the image that is now there (latter).

While the Japanese version of the game having English language support showed promise, this new information casts doubt as to whether even the Japanese version would be free of censorship. It also brings up questions as to why.
