First World of Warcraft Classic Update Adds Dire Maul Next Week

Alongside the latest content updates for the regular version of World of Warcraft – Blizzard is releasing new content updates for the vanilla release of the game as well – World of Warcraft Classic. In the same video update, Blizzard has confirmed the first update for WoW Classic.

Game director Ion Hazzikostas confirmed the Dire Maul dungeon will be launching ahead of schedule – originally planned for the “phase two” of the game’s release schedule. Hazzikostas said the dungeon will launch “the week of October 15th”, or next week.

Hazzikostas added the team has “heard from many of you that you’re ready for something new to sink your teeth into […] I’m happy to announce that we’re going to break Dire Maul out separately and get it out there as soon as possible.”

He added that the world bosses, and the honour system for PvP are “just around the corner.”

World of Warcraft is currently available for Windows PC and Mac. World of Warcraft Classic is also available for Windows PC.
