Thermaltake has announced the latest for their View 71 TG series of desktop PC cases – the View 71 Tempered Glass ARGB Edition.

The new case is an updated version of their previous View 71 design, only now with addressable RGB lighting, making it that much more appealing to professional gamers.

Here’s a rundown on the new hardware:

Designed to expand the legacy of the View Series lineup, the View 71 Tempered Glass ARGB Edition Full-Tower chassis features three 140 mm 5 V ARGB fans for outstanding ventilation that can sync with motherboard brands including ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE, and ASRock. The seven drive trays and modular drive racks deliver advanced storage capacity and excellent liquid cooling expansion. This elegant chassis utilizes swing-out side panels, and is enclosed in four-side 5 mm tempered glass panels for users to demonstrate their DIY handwork and showcase their internal components. With support for the latest PC hardware, the View 71 TG ARGB Edition is not only fascinating in appearance but comes with endless possibilities for PC lovers.

Four-Sided 5 mm Thick Tempered Glass Panels with Swing Door Design
Premium-quality 5 mm thick tempered glass guarantees the durability of the window and adds overall strength to the chassis. Swing Doors on either side allows users to demonstrate their DIY spirit and enjoy the ultimate internal component visibility. Take on easy to install building with a fully modular design and easy removal of swing door for full access.

Handy I/O Ports
The top-front panel of View 71 Tempered Glass ARGB Edition Full-Tower Chassis features two USB 3.0 ports two standard USB 2.0 ports, providing direct access points when needed. The RGB button can cycle through seven different lighting modes and a range of different color options.

Vertical GPU Mount
Specially designed with dual GPU placement options, the View 71 TG ARGB has support for both vertical and horizontal graphics card layouts. With dual PCI-E slot designs (and an optional PCI-e riser cable), the included riser GPU support bracket can not only prevent the graphics card from sagging, but also help reduce the overall weight on the motherboard.

Vertical Radiator View (VRV)
Turn the tides on traditional radiator mounting and bring out the glorious view of custom loop or all-in-one radiator applications with vertical radiator viewing. Supporting proper placement for 120 mm and 140 mm radiator applications up to 420 mm in length, gain more compatibility when pairing up both CPU and GPU cooling solutions. Take on even more with custom loop options for enthusiast grade cooling, fitment and flow.

Superior Hardware and Liquid Cooling Support
The View 71 TG ARGB Edition has plenty of space for advanced AIO/DIY liquid cooling components and supports all kinds of AIO liquid cooling solutions. It is able to hold up to triple 420 mm custom liquid cooling radiators and up to 360 mm AIO liquid coolers. Most importantly, the case design is optimized for providing users a quick way to access the drain valve without having to tilt the entire PC when draining coolant from the loop. Moreover, the View 71 TG ARGB Edition maximizes airflow with three built-in 140 mm 5 V ARGB fans. Options for up to three 120 mm front fans, combined with two bottom mount 120 mm fan locations and top rails to mount up to three 120 mm or 140 mm fans.

Niche Gamer’s Take: At its price point the lack of USB Type-C connectors is an odd one, and not having an additional 3rd 140mm fan are things that would be forgiven on cheaper cases but not at just under $200. That aside it’s a rather cool looking case that has some very premium features like allowing vertical GPU layouts and tons of Radiator support in true Thermaltake fashion.

The case is available for $189.99 on Amazon. (Editor’s Note: Some products linked here contain affiliate codes that will generate revenue for the site)
