Rising Storm 2: Vietnam Gets a Beach Party, Free Week

Antimatter Games and Tripwire Interactive are welcoming Summer with a new DLC pack for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam.

Back during Christmas, the developers partnered with a popular modding team to create a fun mode where everyone played as plastic army men toys fighting for dominance of the Christmas tree. The mode has been brought back and expanded into a whole DLC pack called Green Army Men. You can check out a trailer above.

The DLC is $16.99 and adds various maps to go with the toy theme, including a sandcastle fortress. There is a free demo mode, but its limited to the Rifleman class. Profits will be split between Antimatter Games and the Green Army Men mod team.

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is also running a free week until July 16th. During that time the game will be 67% off.

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is available on Windows PC via Steam. You can read a lengthy first impressions article I wrote for the game here.
