Hobby Japan has announced a new figure based on Makoto Niijima from Persona 5.

The new 50th Anniversary Edition of the Persona 5 Makoto Niijima Phantom Thief Ver. with Johanna figure is actually a re-release of a previous figure, however now it has a more shiny and metallic finish. You can compare the original (left) and the new finish (right) below:

The new figure is launching sometime in December 2019 to January 2020,and pre-orders are going live on August 14th, via Hobby Japan. A price point is set at 28,600 yen (roughly $263).

Persona 5 Royal is launching for PlayStation 4 on October 31st in Japan, and sometime next year in North America and Europe. In case you missed it, you can find our thorough written and video review for the original Persona 5 here (we highly recommend it!).
