Following the initial reveal of the Sonic the Hedgehog live-action movie, many fans were disappointed in how the legendary blue blur was portrayed in the film.

The production studio then announced they’re actually listening to fans, and they’re redoing Sonic’s design for the film. Now, they’ve announced a delay for the movie as well.

The movie will forgo its planned release on November 8th of this year for one a bit later, on February 14th of 2020. Director on the movie Jeff Fowler teased the following message with the delay:

Taking a little more time to make Sonic just right. #novfxartistswereharmedinthemakingofthismovie
