Square Enix has re-confirmed the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake will be a multi-part release.
As first reported by us back in December 2015, the classic Japanese RPG is still being split up into a multi-part series – news confirmed by a new development blog post.
The update notes that the game is being “reborn” on PlayStation 4, and there is “lots of content to review” when doing a full remake of the game. Previously, the studio teased that each part in the series will have the amount of content of a standalone game.
In case you missed it, a brand new trailer for the game was released yesterday – further details are coming next month.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is currently in development for PlayStation 4.
