Nintendo has shared a short video for Super Mario Maker 2 to celebrate the new Reiwa era, which starts today in Japan.

Featured below, the new gameplay short has three parts, which encompass the three eras the Super Mario Bros. franchise has spanned thus far.

The original Super Mario Bros. game and visuals come with the “Showa” era word, followed by the second “Heisei” era with the Super Mario World visuals and style, and finally the new “Reiwa” era visuals with the Super Mario 3D World style.

Super Mario Maker 2 is launching for the Nintendo Switch on June 28th.
