Today’s Spotlight is Demon’s Tier, an arcade action roguelite by Daniel Fernandez Chavez and Diabolical Mind.

Demon’s Tier takes some obvious inspiration from the Gauntlet series, but with more RPG and roguelite elements. Pick one of eight characters and enter the dungeons of King Thosgar on a quest to rid the land of demonic corruption. The game also has 2-player co-op, though it’s local only. Demon’s Tier is available on Windows PC via Steam for $9.99, and its currently 50% off.

Here’s a rundown of the game:


Thosgar, a hated king, attracted by the sorceress & demonic rituals, was consumed by his hatred & a fearsome urges, he then turned into a dark & diabolical being.
Destroying almost all of humanity & flooding the world of monsters.
All this was remembered as legend until peace returned eventually…
A Thousand years later, a mysterious pit has appeared in the village after a huge earthquake where a dark & evil aura emanated from…
