Square Enix has teased the next mainline game in the Octopath Traveler series.
The news comes via the game’s official Twitter account, who teased a new console game for the franchise. “To everyone waiting on a new game on console(s), we’re sorry but development will take a little bit longer,” the post read.
They added, “in the meantime, we hope you can enjoy (the smartphone game,” which is a nod to the newly announced smartphone spinoff, Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent.
