We previously reported on Sega’s latest entry in the House of the Dead franchise, House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn. The game has seen a full release in Japan, however, it’s finally getting a western launch sometime this fall.
The news comes via Kevin Bachus, the Senior Vice President of Entertainment and Games Strategy at Dave & Busters. The barcade boss confirmed (via Reddit) that the company has purchased enough House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn machines for all of their locations in the United States.
“I’ve been working with SEGA for a year and a half to bring it to the west,” Bachus said. “We’ll have it exclusively starting sometime in October. All stores. No test. Just shot the commercial the week before last and it is going to be glorious.”
It’s worth pointing out this will be the first western arcade release for a House of the Dead game since The House of the Dead 4 way back in 2006.
