Despite announcing an interesting pair of throwback Pokemon games for the Nintendo Switch in the form of Pokemon Let’s Go! Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go! Eevee, Nintendo and Game Freak have another Pokemon game in the works – the next mainline RPG in the series announced at last year’s E3 in fact.
The company reiterated the next mainline RPG in the series is still coming (and is not the aforementioned pair of titles announced today), and we won’t get it until the second half of 2019.
That’s all we’ve got for now, but we’ll keep you guys posted.
Previously, we reported on a bevy of rumors surrounding the next generation Pokemon RPG including a simplified and real-time battle system, motion controls, and more – which you can read more about here.
