SNK has shared the twenty third episode for The King of Fighters: Destiny, their CG animated series based on its The King of Fighters franchise.

Featured above, the new episode focuses on the ongoing battle with Rugal, as Kyo and Terry work together to try and defeat the series’ villain.

Rugal is behind the KOF, using it to take control of the fighters by using the Black Crystals. Kyo and Terry cooperate to try and take down Rugal. However, they are forced into a desperate situation when faced with Rugal’s overwhelming power and stone-cold killer instincts.

In related news, SNK confirmed they’re working on “lots of new fighting games,” but they haven’t confirmed development platforms and such. You can read more about that here. The Destiny CG series was also renewed for two more seasons, as well as a feature-length movie.
