We’ve learned (via NeoGAF, Gamereactor Spain) that Nioh will get a free player-versus-player mode post launch.
Speaking with the outlet, game director Yosuke Hayashi said the game will receive the free update sometime near the game’s launch. He also noted the game’s season pass, which adds three large pieces of downloadable content, after the game is released.
In case you missed the exciting news earlier yesterday, the game went gold – meaning it’s development is complete and it’s now ready for shipment.
Nioh launches February 7th for the US, February 8th for Europe, and February 9th for Japan.

January 17, 2017 at 5:35 amYo, hold on, does that mean you won’t need PS+ for this? Fucking sick!
(Also, there’s a slight grammatical error here: the usage of “it’s” instead of “its”, the latter of which is a possessive word.)
