Koei Tecmo has announced their upcoming PS4-exclusive action RPG Nioh has gone gold.
To celebrate finishing the game, which has been in some form of development since 2004, the developer has announced a livestream planned for January 20th.
During the stream, director Yosuke Hayashi will appear and reveal new info on the Dark Souls-style RPG’s stages and game mechanics.
Nioh launches February 7th for the US, February 8th for Europe, and February 9th for Japan.

January 16, 2017 at 2:09 pmIt is great that the game is finally released. However, I won’t be buying it near/on release like I originally planned, since it was announced there would be pre-order/day one DLC and season pass bullshit. I will wait a while until the game drops in price, and if/when there is a cheap definitive/complete version to come out.

January 16, 2017 at 2:19 pmI really like the setting of the game, but the Souls-like combat isn’t something that’s appealing to me, so I’ll be skipping it.

January 16, 2017 at 4:57 pmWe’ll get it soon enough, but Hayashit being the director behind this has me hoping you’re right.
