Bandai Namco has released a bit more information regarding the next Sword Art Online game, Hollow Realization.
First, Strea (who made her debut all the way back in Infinity Moment) and Philia (who debuted in Hollow Fragment) will both be returning to the roster for this next title.
And secondly, the game will release on October 27th of this year in Japan.
Additionally, the limited edition has been revealed, and it will include a bunch of extras including special packaging, a soundtrack, a Blu-ray disc, a special case for both the CD and Blu-ray, NerveGear Volume 04, and a poster.
The limited edition will run you 10,980 yen, while the standard edition is 7,200 yen. First-print copies will also have a DLC code for an in-game costume.
And finally, a longer version of the trailer from back in March was released today, which you can watch up above.
Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization will launch in Japan on October 27th of this year, with the Western release coming sometime this fall as well.

April 25, 2016 at 2:53 pmSeeing all these games based on SAO makes me think they should’ve just stuck into this direction.
Oh and Accel World. That’s another series that could use a million games. C’mon Reki shill this shit.

April 25, 2016 at 7:32 pmBack in the early 2000 they did at one point alter and censor their games, but after legal streaming of anime became readily available they started doing less so.

April 25, 2016 at 8:06 pmNot liking Accel world and SAO and finding them shit, compared to dot Hack?
EnzerPyro
April 26, 2016 at 2:04 amI don’t have that much of a problem with that, it’s just the comparison to dotHack. (I like dotHack too though)

April 26, 2016 at 9:58 amThat’s fair, but dot Hack did have anime as well. I think it’s an apt comparison, considering the subject matter.
