Studio MDHR has shared a new batch of gameplay for their upcoming classic cartoon-inspired action-platformer, Cuphead.
Featured above, the new gameplay shows off over ten minutes of the game. During the bit of gameplay, creator Chad Moldenhauer confirmed they’ve added an easy mode to the game. This was added to help players who wistfully got their souls crushed in its regular difficulty.
Cuphead is currently in development for PC and Xbox One, however a release date is still unconfirmed.

April 24, 2016 at 11:03 amGotta say, I’m extremely impressed by how they managed to fully emulate that mid-20th century art style. I saw a gif from this and I thought that it was supposed to be another current cartoon with deranged animations.

April 24, 2016 at 2:01 pmThis game looks great but it’s going to bomb hard. The dude-bro console just isn’t the place for a game like this.

As someone who looks to the more artistic side of video games, I can definitely appreciate this.

April 27, 2016 at 4:21 pmyou mean early 20th century- It’s heavily influenced by the 20’s and 30’s era Fleischer and Disney cartoons, and not so much cartoons of the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s.
