New Comparison Video Shows Off Kingdom Come’s Gorgeous Lighting

It’s obvious to anyone who has been watching Warhorse’s Kingdom Come: Deliverance progress over the past couple of years that the game is shaping up to be one of the most beautiful-looking RPGs to date, and perhaps the most advanced of its Cryengine-powered features would be the SVOGI (Though Crytek calls it SVOTI) global illumination technique.

Seeing this, youtube user Vlad4D has created the video slide-show seen above, which compares SVOTI-enhanced scenes next to ones in which it has been turned off. For graphics lovers, it’s an amazing video that shows off not only how powerful their tech is, but how high of a bar Warhorse is setting with Kingdom Come.

What’s even more impressive is the performance hit (according to those testing it) is only 10%, meaning that you should only see a dip of 5-6 frames per second with having the lighting enabled.
