Soon, You’ll Actually Be Able to Purchase Fallout 4 Beer and Nuka-Cola Quantum

Bethesda Softworks have teamed up with Danish brewery Carlsberg to make real-life Fallout-inspired beer.

The “Fallout Beer” is currently up for pre-order over on Amazon UK. The beer features a nuclear-holocaust emblazoned label, complete with people fleeing to a fallout shelter!

Carlsberg describes the drink as “a light coloured pilsner lager, with a refreshing zesty hoppy taste and a floral aroma,” although it’s quite light as it comes in at 4%ABV. The Fallout Beer will be released on November 5th.

For us Americans, there’s a non-alcoholic alternative coming to your local Target store. The new drink comes via a partnership with Jones Soda, to which the collaboration brings forth a real-life Nuka-Cola Quantum beverage.

Nuka-Cola Quantum first appeared in Fallout 3, and is known for its bright blue-hue – although it’s worth mentioning it’s not going to literally glow as it does in the irradiated wasteland of the Fallout series.

You’ll be able to get your hands on a Nuka-Cola Quantum beginning November 10th, the same day as the launch of Fallout 4 worldwide across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

See that beer? You can drink it.

Also I’m wondering how the cola will taste. I love soft drinks that look like they’ll give me radiation poisoning, but then again, I’m from GA. Everyone here chugs Mountain Dew.

The beer sounds like hipster brew, can anyone who knows their alcohol tell me if the words they used to describe it makes them think of “weak watered down shit”?

Yeah, the beer doesn’t look too exciting. It’s marketed to ‘gamers’ though, so I’m not surprised they’d go with something that’s barely beer.

I think it’s kind of odd they would go with something as generic as ‘Fallout Beer’, and not Sunset Sarsaparilla, or one of the other Nuka-Colas. Anything that could be related to the game. They could have even sold some sort of ‘rad water’ beverage that came in a little pretend toilet.

Truly, the gamer fuel this generation needs. All they need are nuclear-powered corn chips and we’ve approached MLG levels of product placement.

The stuff is £30 so its not exactly cheap, meaning its either good quality or over-priced novelty swill.

The company seems to be all about “responsible drinking” and half their stuff is 5% or lower, so I wouldn’t expect it to be great. It seems like not quite non-alcoholic beer to me.

They didn’t even bother to look at the wiki. Just, “Fallout Beer”. GG guys round up for your 10/10s come late November.
