• Vocaloid Artist samfree Dies at the Age of 31

    Sad news came to the vocaloid community yesterday as popular vocaloid artist samfree (real name Sano Takuyuki), has passed away.

    He died on September 24th at the age of 31. His family made a tweet on his personal account, announcing the sad news.


    They expressed gratitude to everyone for supporting him and his work, and that they wouldn’t be replying to anyone’s messages. No cause of death was given, only saying that it happened “suddenly.”

    His most notable work was his Night Series, featuring “Luka Luka★Night Fever” and “Megu Megu☆Fire Endless Night”.

     

    It’s always a sad affair when young talent passes away, and this is no different. Our thoughts go to his family and loved ones.
