Klei Entertainment is teaming up with Capybara Games to make a new expansion for Don’t Starve.

Featured above, you can view the reveal trailer for the upcoming expansion, dubbed simply “Shipwrecked.” As you can expect, it involves boats, seafaring, and more.

Both developers are keen to point out this is currently a single-player expansion, although it will bring “new playable characters, biomes, creatures and seasonal effects.” This is the first time sailing will be added to the game, which means water will serve a new purpose, outside halting your progress like it did before.

Perhaps we’ll be seeing this be added to the multiplayer-focused Don’t Starve Together?

Don’t Starve: Shipwrecked is heading to PC, Mac, and Linux some time this fall.
