MonoChro and publisher Spike Chunsoft have opened the official website alongside the debut trailer for Grand Kingdom, their recently announced PS4 and PS Vita spiritual successor to Grand Knights History.
Featured above, you can view the debut trailer for Grand Kingdom. Straight from the newly opened website, we have the first details for the game as well. You can find them below:
The game is headed by Grand Knights History director Tomohiko Deguchi, tasks you with deploying class-based units that may inhibit special traits, in your mercenary group. Following your set up, you then proceed into various quests or battles, and even online play. The entire game is voiced, and the developers are promising a likable cast.
The story is focused on a up-and-coming mercenary that belongs to “the guild,” while he is able to take on requests from the various nations that are vying for power. However, there are circumstances occurring behind the scenes, and the player gets somehow involved in a major incident that affects the entire continent.
In battle, you can tactfully arrange your units and their traits, set up different battle formations, and even combine different physical action maneuvers. When playing online, there will be four major nations fighting for control. You’ll be able to fight to further your own gain, or to support one particular country. Both Playstation 4 and PS Vita players will be able to play together, via cross-play.
Grand Kingdom is coming out some time later this year in Japan on both PS Vita and Playstation 4.
