Tales Producer Apologizes for Worrying Fans, Potential News on PS4/PC Versions Coming

We’ve learned (via Famitsu) that Tales series producer Hideo Baba is aware of the fans’ concerns, according to his comments during the screening of the Tales of Zestiria: Dawn of the Shepherd anime at Machi Asobi Vol. 14 in Tokushima.

“I apologize to raise any worry regarding the Tales of series,” said Baba during the beginning of the screening. “I want to talk about this again, some time soon.”

While his response is quite nebulous, it could be regarding the fan response to the game in Japan, the handling of its downloadable content, and so on. Coming from this, a curious new message was posted (via Gematsu) on the Bandai Namco Asia Facebook. It reads:

“There’s been rumours that we can’t comment on… until this! #Yappari #TalesOf”

The post also linked to Gematsu’s Tales of Festival date article. While this could be chalked up to anything, the biggest elephant in the room are the Playstation 4 retail listings for Tales of Zestiria, as well as the Steam database listing for the same game. Could we be learning of the validity of these rumors during the event?

One thing’s for sure – Tales of Zestiria is definitely coming west on Playstation 3 some time this fall. We’ll keep you guys posted.
