If you’re playing Final Fantasy XV‘s “Episode Duscae” demo, you may have noticed a blue line demarcating the end of the demo area. It shouldn’t be crossable (or should it be …?) but one player has figured out how to get over the demo’s boundary. Jumping on a car as it’s crossing the blue boundary will carry Noctis forward and over that blue line, and will let players explore the game world outside of Episode Duscae’s limits.

What’s outside of the demo’s limits? The player in the above video, naturally, gravitated towards the glowing rock/crystal/spire that’s supposed to be tantalizingly out of reach. They manage to make it onto and over the rock outcroppings around it … only to find themselves falling through the world when they try to get to its center. There may now be a way to go beyond the limits of the FFXV demo, but as far as we know, no one’s yet been able to get to the center of that fantastical landmark. We’ll keep you updated on this, though.
