Atlus has confirmed the North American release date for Etrian Mystery Dungeon.

The 3DS dungeon crawling RPG will hit the Americas on April 7th via both retail and digital options.

If you pre-order or get a first run copy of the game, you’ll get a bonus soundtrack CD. Featured above, a new trailer was shown off that features the Landsknecht class, the “meat and potatoes” swordsman from the Etrian Odyssey series.

With a modest amount of defense and some hard hitting damage, early parties will lean heavily on the Landsknecht for staying alive. With a few skills, Landsknechts can focus down enemies with devastating melee hits or whittle away at rooms full of critters with AOE attacks.
