Nintendo has published a whopping five minute overview trailer for Fatal Frame: The Raven Haired Shrine Maiden.
Featured above, you can view this new trailer shows off more of the horror adventure’s world, characters, and of course – manipulating the Camera Obscura via the Wii U Gamepad.
The protagonist, Yuuri Kozukata, utilizes the Camera Obscura to fight off deadly spirits within the various environments. If you hold the camera in the right positioning and snap a picture at the opportune moment, you’ll be able to damage the specters. You can also use the camera to find hidden objects and things which are hidden to the naked eye.
Naturally, if you move the Gamepad around, you’ll be able to literally get better shots, bringing you closer into the game itself. The key to survival and getting through the terrors that lie in wait is to successfully take multiple pictures in a row, sealing away the spirits.
Fatal Frame: The Raven Haired Shrine Maiden also lets you see into the past lives of spirits, to do this you have to “physically” come into contact with them. Two new playable characters were revealed in the form of Miu Hinasaki, the missing girl that set off the investigation in the beginning, and Ren Houjou, the man investigating the works of an ethnologist.
