• Watch the 2014 Pokemon World Championships Live

    Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have just kicked off the 2014 Pokemon World Championships.

    The greatest players from over 30 different countries have coalesced in Washington D.C. this weekend to battle it out for the title of the greatest Pokemon trainer – whether it be in the 3DS games Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, or with the Pokemon Trading Card game.


    Here is the entire schedule for the 2014 Pokemon World Championship:

    Saturday, August 16

    9:00 A.M. — Opening Ceremony
    9:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. — Video Game Streaming
    5:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. — Pokémon TCG Streaming

    Sunday, August 17

    9:00 A.M. — TCG Masters top 4
    10:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. — Pokémon TCG Finals
    3:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. — Video Game Finals
    6:00 P.M. — Closing Ceremony

    During the opening ceremony for the 2014 championships, Pokemon boss Junichi Masuda confirmed the previously leaked Mega Slowbro.
