Square Enix Trademarked Imperial SaGa in Japan

romancing saga 08-01-14-1

Square Enix has filed a trademarked for “Imperial SaGa” in Japan.

The mark itself was filed back on July, but it was only made public now.

We’ve known that a brand new SaGa game is currently in development via series creator Akitoshi Kawazu, so could this be that very same game?

While it’s unclear what this could be exactly, it is worth noting that the latest SaGa game was Emperors SaGa, a smartphone game released back in 2012.

Sadly main focus of Squeenix are mobile phone games, so most probably it will be another crappy smartphone game.

I mean just take a look at official Squeenix blog… most of recent news are ports for mobiles.

Huh :( it is really sad to see the state of company I loved in the past :(

They’ve become quite corporate these days. There’s still a hint of love for the fans but they generally go where the money goes. They are definitely not the Square Enix of old.

hint of love… maybe but I’m not into SM because that’s the only love they can show

    I mean 2 recent things:
“thank you all fans who showed us how much you wanted Type-0, just because you asked for PSP/PSV version you will finally after so many years get it (even if translated already game in 2011) on PS4” Sakura Minamida the specialist of black PR

“thank you fans, just because you kept asking for retail version of Drakengard 3 in EU we want to give you collector edition of Drakengard with FUCKING digital only coupon”
Lee Williams another specialist of black PR, also specialist of removing all bad comments on blog and PS blog.

    let’s add some honorable mentions
“sorry fans who were naive to buy digital Drakengard 3, we know that game is broken and unplayable.. and we will sooner or later do something to repair it… but here is the thing… because it is digital only it takes lot of time to upload game to server and test every fucking single thing we screwed up” Project Failure Leader Phill Elliot

    source: http://eu.square-enix.com/en/blog/drakengard-3-update

Finally after over a fucking month they repaired 1 fucking bug…

    oh and one new thing
“we know that you love Kingdom Hearts so eat shit and be happy because you will get a fucking PIN for free… it was so fucking important news that we had to write whole fukcing grand artcile to brag about how fucking great we are… NOW BE GREATFUL” random morons

You know it really is sad but I can’t anymore like SE. I loved them, I was fan of theirs since mid 90. Bought every fucking game there was… and … I just feel like a easy source of money for them… and it kinda hurts.

Without Uematsu and Sakaguchi it is not Square Soft I loved… but there is no even single alternative… Mistwalker is slowly dying out… Uematsu is now working on indie game called “Project Phoenix”

I mean yeah… everyone was happy when that Wada moron was changed… but now with Matsuda… I don’t see any improvement… What’s worse they let Eidos dudes decide about things in Europe… (guys who pretty much fucked up and destroyed Eidos)

    Urgh…. so big wasted potential…

Yeah it’s really sad how they’ve fallen from grace. They own so many great titles but the way they handle and destribute it with awful options and poor solutions is terrible.
