Atlus has confirmed that the Playstation 2 classic, Growlanser: Heritage of War, is coming to the Playstation Network as a PS2 Classic.

This release comes alongside a whole host of other content when the Playstation Store updates tomorrow on Tuesday, March the 4th. The re-release of Growlanser: Heritage of War is actually an upgraded port from the Japanese original.

Atlus took some liberties with their Western localization of Heritage of War, aside from their translation they also upgraded the enemy AI and increased the difficulty from the Japanese original. The original release on Playstation 2 saw a limited printing (like most other lesser known PS2 RPGs), and as such has become somewhat rare.
