In this episode of our regular and shameless unboxing video series, we open up the collector’s edition for the Piranha Bytes’ developed open world RPG, Elex.

Here’s what you can expect in the collector’s edition:

I rarely buy physical but that looks really cool.

The game has good and bad reviews, even-split. Is the combat really as bad as people say?

  • Madbrainbox

No.The combat has it’s problems like all PB games but it’s fun once you understand how it works. The problem is,the mechanics are poorly explained.

  • Jbumi

Combat isn’t really the game’s focus. This is illustrated right from the beginning – your first kills will get you 5 XP while completing the first quest gives you 100. This continues throughout the game – near the end you get about 100 for kills while finishing quests will give you between 3000 & 10,000 XP.

I love this game & am already hoping we’ll eventually get Elex 2.
