Falcom has officially announced The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV -The End of Saga- for PlayStation 4.

The new game is a PlayStation 4 exclusive, and will launch in Japan sometime next fall in Japan. Falcom reiterated this is the final game in the Trails of Cold Steel series, and will showcase the end of the Erebonian Empire story.

The following tidbits are possibly spoilers for players who haven’t played earlier games in this timeline: Following the Great Twilight being enacted, a horrible curse has overcome the entire empire. Rean Schwarzer gets overcome with his ogre power and loses his self control. With the end of times coming, players will see what the new and old members of Class VII do.
