“Rental Avatar” System Revealed for Sonic Forces, Infinite Battle and Chemical Plant Gameplay

Sega has revealed a new “Rental Avatar” system for Sonic Forces alongside new screenshots and gameplay for the upcoming title.

The new “Rental Avatar” system lets players access Hero Characters made by other players around the world, enabling you to use their respective Wispons and swap between your character and the Rental Avatar at any point in a given level. This let’s you experiment with different Wispons to find secrets and overcome challenges within a level.

Sonic Forces launches on November 7th in North America and Europe across PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. The precursor to Sonic Forces, Sonic Mania, is available now for PC, Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
