Debut Trailer for Gintama Rumble

Bandai Namco has shared the debut trailer for Gintama Rumble.

Featured above, you can view the roughly three-minute long trailer, which gives a nice overview of the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita game adaptation of the established manga and anime franchise.

The company also launched the official website for the game.

Gintama Rumble is launching for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on January 18th, 2018 in Japan, while an English release is planned for the PlayStation 4 version.

Is the English version still Asia English only or are we getting a western release?

Namco Bandai is doing a crazy number of these 3D anime games all at once.

There’s a big lack of blood in this trailer

  • DeeeFoo

    We don’t know yet.

  • DeeeFoo

None of the actual Musou games from Koei have any blood either, save for Ken’s Rage and Berserk, the latter of which suffered from a framerate cap because of it.

    For me it’s

This is not just a musou game, this is Gintama too. Battles there have blood. Sometimes a truckload of blood. That’s why i said that

  • DeeeFoo

Yes I know. But the reason there’s a lack of blood in the game is either one of two reasons, or maybe even both:

    1. It would increase the age rating
    2. It would cause performance drops. This is the more likely reason, since if you have all those dozens of units onscreen spewing blood, the performance will likely suffer just like it did in Berserk Musou.
