Opening Animation for Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Switch Version Delayed

THQ Nordic and Airship Syndicate have shared the opening animation for Battle Chasers: Nightwar.

Featured above, the animation was handled by Powerhouse Animation, the same folks behind the recently released Castlevania animated TV series.

Alongside the trailer comes the news that the Switch version of the game has been delayed to “slightly later” than the other versions.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar is launching across PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch on October 3rd. In case you missed it, you can find our extensive interview and hands-on preview for the game here with Joe Madureira and Kevin Regamey.

Looks superb. Battle Chasers is one of my most anticipated games for the rest of the year.

  • Josh

Hmm, first I’ve heard of this game. Looks pretty interesting.

  • Brimfyre

Man that is totally weird. I just started reading this comic yesterday. I had no idea there was a game being made. What perfect timing.

  • Madbrainbox

Netflix needs to turn this into a series next.Looks so good.

  • Fear Me I Am Free

Looks neat. I’ll give it a go.

  • NukeA6

Well damn. I’m starting to think I should have funded the project a bit more.

  • ProtomanBlues

I only wish I contributed to get the artbook and next physical comic issues. I have both darksiders art books and love them, Joe Mad is one of my favorites.

  • Anon_Amous

Definitely interested. Assuming it runs well would prefer it on Switch, wouldn’t mind waiting a couple weeks or something. Hopefully not a couple month delay.

  • Good to see the sexy female character designs have remained. Too bad Darksiders 3 lost that touch.

  • Pretty rad! Can’t wait for this game to come out. Picked up a copy of Battle Chasers: Gathering of Heroes to brush up before the game comes out.
