Turok Remastered Gets a Level Editor

Do you miss when shooters had level editors? Well, Nightdive Studios’ remaster of the classic shooter Turok has gotten a pretty nifty update that is sure to tickle your fancy.

The new feature is in fact a pretty robust level editor.

Now only can you modify existing maps and make new ones entirely from scratch, you can distribute them via the Steam Workshop as well. Featured above, you can view a trailer introducing the level editor.

You can find Turok remastered here on Steam for PC and Mac – it’s worth mentioning the game is a steal at 75% off!

This shit is so thoroughly good. This game aged like fine wine. So satisfying to go blazing through levels wiping out dinosaurs and crazy monsters. Can’t wait for the Seeds of Evil port.

At least that price tag looks more reasonable now. And now we can go make Jurassic Park levels and somehow make a T-Rex chase scene. Maybe.

    Always wanted to play Turok.

This is awesome, and this level editor looks robust as fuck. I wouldn’t be surprised if the first thing we see are the Goldeneye and Perfect Dark levels getting re-created.
