Fans of classic anime visuals will squeal with glee upon seeing El Dia’s remastered version for Desire, their classic visual novel.

Featured above, the new yet short trailer gives a look at the remastered version of the game, which is built from the ground up of the SS version of the game. The remaster includes new CG, as well as eye and mouth animations.

Desire takes place on a remote island that is isolated from the world. The titular Desire research institute is located here, where scientists work on things completely shrouded in mystery. A journalist visits his lover working at the facility, and the two get caught up in a catastrophic incident.

Desire: Remaster Version is launching in Japan for both PlayStation Vita and PC on April 27th, 2017.
