Crowdfunded Game Frog Fractions 2 is Finally Discovered

We’re no strangers to covering spectacular crowdfunding failures, and while Frog Fractions 2 seemed to have eluded our scope, it seems like the game has been finally released.

The game was funded successfully on Kickstarter back in March of 2014 for a little over $72,000. The game’s planned September 2015 release came and went, however this was all intentional as developer Twinbeard planned to release the game within another title.

It didn’t take long for internet sleuths to finally discover what game Frog Fractions 2 was hidden within, which you can read about in all it’s excruciating detail here. To play the game, you’d have to redeem a code received from its Kickstarter for another game, Glittermitten Grove.

Within that game, you’ll have to meet certain criteria in order to unlock Frog Fractions 2 and be able to play it.

It kind of makes you wonder if the game would have received anywhere near as much attention if it was just released normally on Steam. If you’re looking to get in on the insanity, you can purchase Glittermitten Grove on Steam for $19.99.
