Poochy & Yoshi’s Wooly World Has No Multiplayer

If you were wanting to play with friends in the new 3DS port of the Wii U’s Yoshi’s Wooly World, prepare to be disappointed.

In a recent preview by Game Informer, the magazine confirmed that the port, titled Poochy and Yoshi’s Wooly World, will not feature the co-op gameplay of the original. Even though co-op wasn’t required, it certainly made the Wii U version much more enjoyable.

While the Yoshi amiibo can (somewhat) alleviate the problem with a Yoshi clone, it still would have been nice if they found a way to make this work on the handheld.

Poochy and Yoshi’s Wooly World launches February 3rd on both the original and new 3DS.

The whole “everything is made of wool” aesthetic just looks awful on 3DS.

My sister bought the first one back in the late spring. It was so uncontrollable to look, add in the the heat rising outside and you got a game that we have to delay playing till the winter.

I like playing games single-player, but this does kind of suck. Although, this doesn’t get me triggered as much as 3DS Mario Maker does.

low effort port of a low effort game

when nintendo sets the bar low for itself it sure knows how to deliver

hopefully with the switch they will be able to focus on delivering better games, no longer having to deliver games for two systems at once

Being the idiot I am I’ll probably get the Switch day-1 just to be disappointed and then realizing what an stupid purchase when the emulator comes out 2 years later.
