• Nintendo Looking to Produce Movies, First Release Coming Within 2-3 Years

    We’ve just learned (via Asahi, from FarmboyinJapan) that Nintendo will be entering the movie making business.

    This comes via the president of Nintendo Tatsumi Kimishima, who elaborates that Nintendo are looking at a production system so that they “can do as much as we can ourselves.


    Kimishima adds thats they are looking to have the first movie ready within the next 2-3 years.

    No specifics as to what franchise they are looking to adapt onto the silver screen, but they are considering various franchises.
