• Japan Finally Gets the Nintendo 2DS – Complete With the Original Pokemon Games

    It may surprise you to know that up until now, the 2DS hasn’t been officially available in Japan. However, Nintendo has now announced that the Nintendo 2DS is finally releasing in their home country.

    The slate-designed, non-3D version of the Nintendo 3DS will be launching in Japan on February 27th, 2016, and it even comes with various colors, each bundled with their respective (color-coded) version of the original Pokemon games! The bundles will cost 9,980 yen.


    Finally, if you pick up one of the bundles, you’ll get a download code which lets you download the rare Pokemon Mew, in either the Pokemon X/Y or Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire games.
