5pb. have revealed that they’re working on a video game adaptation of the popular Rail Wars manga and anime.

The series first started off as a light novel before it got a dedicated manga, and later an anime adaptation. The story within Rail Wars takes place in an alternate history version of Japan where the Japanese railways were never privatized.

The protagonist, Naoto Takayama, longs to work for the Japanese National Railways, but he ends up being hired as a security force trainee, where he must combat extremists fighting for privatization, and his extremely weird co-workers.
