Renegade Kid is the team behind the excellent Mutant Mudds, a 2D platformer shooter of sorts that originally landed on the Nintendo 3DS, only to later receive a “Deluxe” edition, which eventually landed on Playstation platforms only recently.

It seems like Renegade Kid has something new up their sleeve, if their co-founder and game director Jools Watsham’s tweet is anything to go by:

We have a pretty big announcement coming up later this month. Something FPS lovers and 3DS owners might be happy about. :)

There’s something you guys should keep in mind – Renegade Kid previously released the first person shooter Dementium: The Ward.  Could this be a return to the Dementium world?

Renegade Kid also delayed their spelunking 3DS game, Treasurenauts, to early 2014. We’ll keep you guys posted.
