Numantian Games has released a new update for They Are Billions that focuses on the late game content.
The new update adds “The Six Wonders,” six new unique buildings that act as massive monuments to your colony which come with equally huge perks – while also costing “tonnes of resources.”
Featured above, you can view a new trailer focusing on the new wonder buildings. Some examples of bonuses include The Academy of Immortals, which makes all army units veterans, as well as the Victorious, a bunker that increases gold generation by 20% and can take quite the beating.
Here’s a rundown on each wonder:
- Energy Supply: +800
- Energy Transfer Radius: 30
- Victory Points: +1500
- Oil Supply: +40 (by transmutating 20 wood, 20 stone and 10 iron).
- Victory Points: +2000
- Colonists Hope: +20% gold generation for the surrounding dwellings.
- Unbreakable: Defenses Life 8000, Armor 10.
- Victory Points: +2000
- All army units and new units trained are veteran.
- Victory Points: +1000
- Food Supply +800 on any terrain.
- Victory Points: +1500
It’s the most precise and complex machine ever created. The Beholder is installed on top of the Command Center revealing the entire map. Nothing can escape its prodigious eye.
- Reveals all the map and enemies permanently.
- Victory Points: +1500
In case you missed it, you can find a thorough playthrough of the game I streamed from an earlier build, here.
They Are Billions is currently available for PC via Steam Early Access. A release date isn’t confirmed, however a single-player campaign is planned to be released in the near future.
