Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead will delay episode 6 due to the 2023 World Athletics Championships.

Summer is a difficult time for anime, due in part to all the sporting events delaying the broadcast of seasonal series. Just last week episode 6 of Am I Actually the Strongest? was delated for golf.

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead premiered last month, the series follows the young man Akira Tendo whose life actually changes for the better in the wake of a zombie apocalypse. No longer bound to work for a soul-crushing “black company”, he’s free to do whatever he wants for the first time.

In a trash-filled apartment, 24-year-old Akira Tendo watches a zombie movie with lifeless, envious eyes. After spending three hard years at an exploitative corporation in Japan, his spirit is broken. He can’t even muster the courage to confess his feelings to his beautiful co-worker Ohtori. Then one morning, he stumbles upon his landlord eating lunch—which happens to be another tenant! The whole city’s swarming with zombies, and even though he’s running for his life, Akira has never felt more alive!

Episode 5 of Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead was also delayed. Episode 6 will now air on August 27 instead of August 20.
