Yumi’s Odd Odyssey is Getting a 60FPS Port on Playstation Vita

Yumi’s Odd Odyssey 01-07-15-6

Sayonara Umihara Kawase, or as it’s known in the west – Yumi’s Odd Odyssey, is bringing some wacky adventures to PS Vita.

The game is getting an enhanced port on the rival handheld, following its original launch on the Nintendo 3DS in March of 2013. The news was confirmed in the upcoming issue of Famitsu, and here are the first screenshots:

The new version, dubbed Sayonara Umihara Kawase Chirari, will launch in Japan on April 23rd. The improvements coming with the PS Vita port are as follows:

  • All of the original 50 stages from the 3DS original, only the enemy placements will be switched up, and you’ll also encounter new enemies.
  • Entirely new levels.
  • Enhanced graphics/performance, with the game running at a full 60FPS

While a western release date isn’t coming for awhile, the original game is on the Nintendo eShop right now.
