Falcom has announced Ys X: Proud Nordics, an upgraded version of Ys X: Nordics with a new story, a new setting, and many more new elements.

Ys X: Proud Nordics is set to launch sometime in 2025 for Japan, though release platforms weren’t announced.

A new story, a new setting of adventure, and many other elements have been added to the action RPG Ys X: Nordics. It has been decided that the significantly upgraded Ys X: Proud Nordics will be released in 2025!

“Oland Island” is a huge island located in the northern part of Obelia Bay. In the middle of a battle with the immortal dead known as Griegers, red-haired adventurer Adol and pirate princess Carja visit the island and witness numerous ruins in an untrodden land.

What on earth happened on this island…?

An encounter with another “Mana user” leads Adol and his friends into an unknown adventure.

In addition to the exhilarating “Cross Action” of Adol and Carja’s combined offensive and defensive battles, new “Mana Actions” and the vast map and exploration area of ​​Oland Island have been implemented!
There are even more addictive elements, such as new bosses, Mana Ride Races, and battles in the arena where fierce enemies await!
