While most devices have a web browser in which you can do frivolous things like watch hedgehog videos on YouTube, most modern gaming consoles require separate applications for media streaming services. As such, the Nintendo Switch has finally gotten its second streaming app – YouTube.

The popular streaming application is now available to download for free, via the Nintendo eShop.

Here’s a quick blurb on the app:

Kick back, relax and enjoy all of YouTube on your Nintendo Switch. There’s entertainment for everyone, like music videos, movies, gaming livestreams and the latest viral sensations. Explore a world of videos with personalised recommendations and easy access to your channel subscriptions. So grab your friends, family and your controller, and enjoy YouTube together.

YouTube joins the Switch alongside rival streaming application Hulu. The last remaining streaming platforms to come to the console would arguably be Netflix and Amazon Video.
