So here’s a pretty scary and or mind boggling possibility – Youtube is reportedly going to buy Twitch TV for a whopping $1 billion dollars, cash.

Google previously purchased Youtube back in 2006 for $1.65 billion, and the encroaching acquisition of Twitch comes after Google ad executive Susan Wojcicki was named CEO of Youtube earlier this year.

Twitch is a San Francisco based company that sees its streaming service used across both Xbox consoles, the Playstation 4, and PC users. Cumulatively the service hosts roughly 45 million users every monthly, and in total over a million users upload videos every month as well.
